Our Partners

The fight against HIV/AIDS is a monumental one.  But just like achieving zero work incidents, it is a challenge Chevron believes can be overcome.  It's an issue that affects all of us -- our employees, contractors, employees' families and the communities where our employees work and live.  According to the Louisiana Office of Public Health, Louisiana ranks thrid in the nation for estimated new HIV case rates.  Among all large metroplolitan areas in the United States, New Orleans ranks second in the nation and Baton Rouge ranks third in the nation for estimated new HIV case rates.

Despite these facts, Chevron and the NO/AIDS Task Force are committed to the health of our community.  Chevron is proud to be the title sponsor of the Walk to End HIV.

Avita Pharmacy

Avita Pharmacy is proud to partner with NO/AIDS Task Force for over 12 years to provide community focused specialty pharmacy care. Working together, both organizations are able to achieve their missions by providing the best possible care to those who are affected by or living with a complex health condition.

Avita Pharmacy offers personalized care allowing you to focus on your wellness instead of your illness.  Our dedicated pharmacy team consists of specially trained pharmacy technicians and pharmacists who are eager to improve your health by providing:  personal refill reminder calls, free delivery when and where you want it, access to all financial and copay assistance programs and special compliance packaging.

Avita Pharmacy was founded with the vision to provide the best pharmacy experience and service to all patients regardless of age, sex, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability and socioeconomic status.

We are committed to excellent pharmacy service, and that same value has lead us to give back to our communities. Each year, we sponsor and support the Chevron NO/AIDS WALK as well as over 130 initiatives across the country. At Avita, we believe in helping our communities grow and improve each and every day. Our patients are more than just a prescription, and that’s why we’re more than just a pharmacy.

Louisiana Pizza Kitchen Uptown

Louisiana Pizza Kitchen UptownRob Gerhart has graciously donated all of the food sold at the Chevron NO/AIDS WALK for the past 17 years.  He is a strong supporter of all that NO/AIDS does in the community for HIV/AIDS.  His donation literally saves us thousands of dollars annually so that all of our proceeds can go directly to supporting the men, women and families we serve.

In addition, Rob and LPK support us for  Dining Out For Life, and we participate in LPK's Dining with a Purpose during the year for our Food For Friends program.

Many thanks to Rob and LPK for their support of NO/AIDS Task Force.
